EBS is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility and investing in our community. As part of this commitment our chosen Christmas charity this year is Twycross Zoo and their Lanterns of the Wild.

Why Twycross Zoo?

Twycross Zoo is a conservation charity and a long-standing valued customer. By sponsoring two lanterns in their Lanterns in the Wild initiative, we are directly supporting the survival of endangered species through the Reverse the Red programme.

We’re proud to back an organisation that shares our ethos and delivers a magical family experience. The environmental and welfare themes showcased through the lantern trail matter to us all, and we’re delighted to play a part in raising both awareness and vital funds.

Our chosen lanterns: the Whale Shark and Penguins

Whale Sharks are awe-inspiring yet vulnerable. Facing threats from habitat destruction, climate change and unsustainable fishing, their future depends on collective global action. By sponsoring this lantern, we hope to increase knowledge of this beautiful animal and its need for marine conservation.

Penguins are much loved across the world but not all of us are aware of how many species are facing declining numbers. By sponsoring the penguin, we can help increase knowledge of the climate change impacts facing wildlife across the globe.

With over a mile of breath-taking lanterns and immersive zones alongside traditional food, drink and festive treats it is guaranteed to be a winter warmer.
