There can be times when knowing how to reset your desktop settings in Sage 200 can be a benefit. Whether you have lost access to a column or are struggling to see something. Knowing how to reset your desktop settings in Sage 200 is easy to do with our short video guide.
The video shows you how to:
- Navigate to Tools, this is the cog in the top right hand corner of Sage 200.
- From the menu options, select Preferences.
- This will display the following options, where you would need to select ‘Reset Desktop Settings’.
This will clear any changes you have made to the default settings, most commonly changing the layout and columns within list views and workspace and restore the default values. It does not remove your favourites.
From the preferences setting you can also do the following:
- Set the desktop theme:
- Dark, Light or White, Sage 200 has this set to Dark by default. You will need to restart Sage 200 to see the changes.
- Desktop List Row Spacing:
- Change the spacing, Sage 200 default is Normal but you can change this to Narrow or Wide
- Hide Notifications:
- This will stop you receiving Save and Delete notifications when you are working in Sage 200.
- This does not apply if you are using Excel Reporting from the Self Service web app
- This will stop you receiving Save and Delete notifications when you are working in Sage 200.
