Building cyber resilience across the Midlands
The Government’s Cyber Security Breaches Survey, released in April this year, identified that:
- 43% of UK businesses identified a cyber breach or attack in the previous 12 months
- 29% of businesses that identified a cyber breach or attack experienced one at least weekly.
The statistics show that cyber resilience needs to be an ongoing commitment for SMEs. We understand that Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus provide an important foundation for businesses but one that can need help from a technology partner to continue to implement effectively.
Our approach to cybersecurity is focused on ongoing partnership with SMEs to embed strong cyber protection. This approach is recognised by CyberSmart with our promotion to Advanced Partner and underpinned by our role as a Community Ambassador with West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre.
